Quilting projects to come in 2026

I hope you had a restful break and are ready to jump into some new projects in 2026. Steve & I had a great time in Adelaide catching up with friends and family, it was the first time we had all been together for Christmas in 10 years! As I take down my 2025 inspiration wall, I am sharing some of the new fabric arrivals and projects I will be working on in the first quarter of 2026.

Top left: Blooming Day & Night by Jason Yenter for in the beginning fabrics. Jason's latest range is a bright rainbow of small floral tonal prints with 2 border prints and 2 multi coloured floral co-ordinates. The Blooming quilt pattern features raw edge floral applique designs, triangle setting and mitred borders. You can choose to make the black version or white version. Blooming Day & Night is in store now and the pattern & fabric kits are ready to go.

Top right: Yomu by Leesa Chandler. Leesa is one of our favourite pattern designers and Yomu is her newest fabric range (her first for a few years). We will be stocking the autumn colourway you see below which features the Japanese style mon designs, a six repeat border fabric and the two ombre fabrics. We can't wait to see the projects Leesa has coming out and will have them as soon as they are available. Yomu fabric will be arriving in store late January, early February.

Centre left: Flock Together by Jason Yenter for in the beginning fabrics. This cute and quirky fabric arrived mid December and I am hope to have something made with it for Craft Alive in Shepparton mid February if there is enough left, it is selling very quickly!

Centre: Steampunk by Jason Yenter for in the beginning fabrics will be arriving in February. I have only order a few as it the colours are similar to On your Mark by Seth Apter and the Tim Holtz fabrics we have left. They will fit in quite well with those "blokey" ranges

Centre right: Serenity by Dan Morris for Quilting Treasures fabric. If you have been following me for a while, you will know that I love lotus flowers and this fabric is just stunning. It is due late January/early February and I can't wait to FMQ it!

Bottom left: Stitched with Love quilt labels from Maywood Studios. due in February 2026. Who doesn't love a panel full of quilt labels?

Bottom centre: Lovelies by Jason Yenter for in the beginning fabrics. another bright fresh floral range due to arrive February/March 2026. I can see a remake of my Endless Summer quilt design with this fabric.

Bottom right: The Plaid One by Marcia Derse for Windham Fabrics features art journal/collage style prints and is due February/March 2026
