Teaching at Quilt Encounter 2026
Shortly after returning from holiday, I was off to Adelaide to teach at Quilt Encounter. The event is hosted by SA Quilters and is a live in retreat held at the Stamford Grand in Glenelg, a beach side suburb of Adelaide.
Approximately 190 participants, 11 tutors with classes over 5 days. It is an amazing event which has been running over 30 years and is attended by people from all over Australia.
The classes I taught were Plant Life using the Wonder Curve Ruler, Mini Runner with the Mini Quick Curve Ruler and Chic Country with the Quick Curve Ruler.
The results were fantastic! I hope that everyone had as much fun as I did and I loved seeing how everyone progressed with the technique considering that it was their first time piecing curves. Below are some photos of the achievements.
