Leesa Chandler is coming to Bright for a Creative Day out!
Join Angela & Leesa on Saturday May 16, 2026 for a day of learning 3D applique techniques as we make two blocks from Leesa's iconic Oriental Baltimore quilt. You will learn which elements can be machine sewn and which elements are hand sewn, along with techniques for further embelllishing your blocks
Included in your ticket will be:
- a precut kit for the two blocks so that you can get stuck in
- Enjoy a delicious lunch, morning and afternoon tea in beautiful Bright.
- Leesa will be providing expert tuition and Angela will be there offering assistance
- Pop up shop from Sew Bright Alpine Quilting
- Some machine sewing will be required. We will have machines to use or you can always had sew if you prefer.
- Option to purchase the full Oriental Baltimore quilt pattern and fabric kits
This event is limited to 24 persons and will take place at the Bright Motor Inn, 1-5 Delaney Avenue, Bright
