Stitch & Quilt in Bright
Stitch & Quilt in Bright is a retreat held each year in Spring as a part of the Bright Spring Festival.

Beginners Patchwork class - the 1st Monday of each month
Join in making the Precious Pieces Quilt, designed by Monica Poole, try a different block each month.
Learn new techniques including straight piecing,curved piecing, applique, colourwash and quilt as you go
Pattern $35.95, $5 per class plus materials

Intermediate Patchwork class - the 2nd Monday of each month
Join in as we make the Under the Veranda Quilt, an eight month block of the month quilt.
Learn new techniques including bargello, curved piecing, raw edge applique,
can be made quilt as you go, bonus project instructions for each block

This whimsical bolster pillow design is completed using raw edge appliqué and free motion quilting techniques. A great introductory project to help you hone your skills
NEEDLE FELTING
Weekly - Wednesdays 10am – 1pm
COST: Class $5
Scarf and fibre pack from $ 19.95
This class is an introduction to needle felting. Using a hand needle felting tool, you will learn the basics of this very diverse technique and decorate a scarf with various yarns and fibres.
DRESSMAKING - The Basics and beyond

Weekly -Fridays 10am to 3pm

This class is suited to those with basic sewing skills who would like to make clothing from patterns
You choose the pattern and fabric and I will guide you through the process of making the garment, including how to read the pattern, cutting out and construction techniques.
Garment may not be finished in one session
Needle turn Applique Technique
Notemaker & glasses case
Fridays 11am to 4pm
COST: Class $10 Pattern $17.60
This delightful set features a needle turn applique panel, the perfect size for a first attempt at the technique. Project may not be finished in one session, optional finishing sessions available for $5 each session
THANGLES intro technique

Saturdays 10am to 3pm
COST: $25
Thangles are the fast, easy and accurate way to make half square triangles. Use the specially designed paper templates to create perfect half square triangles every time. This project will introduce you to Thangles and you can complete a number of blocks to make a lap quilt, wall hanging or cushions.
One packet of Thangles included in class price.
SEW & CHAT with Angela
Daily, except Tuesdays Mornings 10am to 1pm Afternoons 2pm to 5pm
Sit and sew and chat with Angela and others. This is the perfect time to finish those UFO’s, start a new project or look through the magazines and books for inspiration.
Morning sessions are 10am – 1pm. Afternoon sessions are 2pm - 5pm.
**Group sessions available with pre-booking
**Please note: no afternoon sessions on the weekends.
