Japanese toileRed Circles

This fantastic red and white japanese range has just arrived. There are 16 fabrics in the range including the toile (pictured above left) and the large circle print. Each of the patterns in the circles is also a fabric in the range. Each pattern comes in red on white background and white on red background.  The banner shows the toile fussy cut and surrounded by some of the prints. Indigo borders help to frame each block. The pattern will be available shortly. That is as soon as I can make the sample and write the instructions.

Giselle fabric

Giselle quiltWhen this fabric arrived, I was on my way to Sydney so I couldn’t make anything straight away. My friend Carolyn liked the fabric, bought some and made this quilt. She has lent it to me to display in the shop. I did get a chance to make another Bella bag over Easter, from the same fabric. It’s just gorgeous!! I have already had to order more of a couple of the designs, they should arrive this week.

New fabric arrival

Viviana fabricWhilst in Sydney, this georgeous fabric was delivered to our hotel,we couldn’t wait to show it off, so we cut some up and pinned it up on the stand. It is called ‘Viviana’ by Lonni Rossi. It looked spectacular on the stand and started selling straight away. It is now in the front window of the shop and is selling well. I am about to start making something with it. Haven’t quite decided what it will end up, but that is half the fun of designing.
