Machine quilting fees

Sew Bright Alpine Quilting specialise in freestyle machine quilting. Each quilt is individually assessed to determine the style of quilting required. The quilting fee will depend on the size of the quilt (Sq. ft) and the style of quilting you choose.

Measure your quilt.  Determine the length and width of your quilt in inches and multiply to give total square inches.  i.e. queen size approx 80” x  84” = 6720 square inches. Divide the total by 144 = 46.67 square feet.

Choose a quilting style.

Edge to edge          from $3 per sq.ft*
Meandering            from $3 per sq.ft*
Custom                  from $5 per sq.ft*
Blocks                   from $4.50 per sq.ft*
Set up fee              from  $15*
Turning fee             from $15*
Consumables (Thread,etc) from $10*
Minimum charge per quilt  $50*

Calculate quilting fee,

Example: 47 sq.ft x $3 per sq.ft. = $141, plus set up, consumables, turning fee as applicable equals total fee
